somehow this turned into a vague carly rae jepsen tribute show (as most things do? if you're me i guess) and i have my longest solo talk break ever about an album i didn't even want to listen to at first but now clearly have lots of feelings about - jay-z's 4:44.
s/o to jenna wortham and wesley morris, the geniuses and heroes behind the podcast still processing and the excellent conversation they have about 4:44 which shapes most of my own thoughts (no really, they are my idols. i just bought probiotic mints (what even are those) because jenna said they were life changing).
