This episode was inspired by an acquaintance of mine who teaches History at a local Bay Area high school. As an icebreaker, she asked her students what era, any era, they would travel back in time to if they could. About a quarter of her students said the 1990s. Any era... and the 90s?!? Dial-up modems, the rise of the religious right, Scud missiles over Tel Aviv, the blue dress, the white Bronco chase, plus I was in high school, so there was all that completely mundane, entirely hormone-addled drama to contend with as well. At least there was great music... and here's just a few selections. Thank you for listening.

[CORRECTION: During the show I incorrectly stated the cause of death of Mark Sandman from Morphine. For this I apologize. He tragically died of a heart attack when he was only 46.]
