Happy 1st Birthday to Bff.fm, the lovely station that lets us witter on about music for two whole hours every week!
(What? Yes, "witter". It's a British English word, meaning, basically, "to go on at length").
This week, between the wittering, there's some new music from old artists (Stars, TV On The Radio, Johnny Marr, Leonard Cohen), new music from new artists (Haerts, Ben Howard, The Districts, Shamir, Mapei, Sinkane) and a few other bits of music from artists of varying vintage.
Also! We try our hand at our first on-air giveaway, offering a pair of tickets to see MONEY at the Rickshaw Stop in San Francisco on Wednesday September 10th (you can still enter! Just tweet at @BFFKettle and tell us what your favourite kind of money is, and why!)
Excitingly, the show ends with another new Caribou track which we've been cueing up and then cutting from the show for *weeks* now, because usually we witter too much to fit it in.
