No guest today, so lots more music than usual. Today's playlist was a tour of 1974, with all the music played (more or less) in the order it was released in that year.
I talked about
- New Year's resolutions, and how I don't do them
- how happy I was to be alone in the studio after the social exhaustion of the (air quotes) HOLIDAYS
I also gave a a half-considered rant on contract employment.
Then I read a part of a short story about a cold underground place that I'd started writing a few hours before, based on someone's tweet. Maybe I'll finish that story and read more of it on future shows.
In other words, this was a really all-over-the-place show.
