On Thanksgiving, my friends' two-year-old daughter danced for over an hour to Stan Getz and Charlie Byrd's 1962 album Jazz Samba, The Amazing Bud Powell, Vol. 2 (1954), and other great jazz albums. She, of course, was dissatisfied with the adults in the room standing around with beers in their hands and frequently demanded that we "dance fast-ter." So here is a mix of jazz and jazz-inspired music for your coffee and commute. Thank you for tuning in and please dance faster.
