This is the fourth of five deep dives into the discographies of some of my favorite artists. This mixtape highlights the Duluth, Minnesota-based band Low, which was formed in 1993 by childhood friends and life partners Mimi Parker and Alan Sparhawk. The married couple have had two children together, the oldest of whom just graduated from high school, and they've written and recorded hundreds of songs, releasing their 12th full-length album last year. Over the years, they've been supported by John Nichols, Zak Sally, Matt Livingston, and, most recently, Steve Garrington on bass and electronics. Enjoy!
