✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿🌈🎶 This week in recognition of Black Lives Matter, Night Light Radio continues to use this platform to give space to Black musicians' voices.
To pump us up, this week includes a lot of uncensored rap music, as well as variety like Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Maya Angelou, and more. We wrap up with a piano track of Young Gifted and Black by Donny Hathaway.
As white person reckoning with my own white privilege and complicity in institutional racism, I am continuing to learn and take impactful actions. I look forward to continuing to share and staying accountable, for the long haul, and deepening my activism and strength on all levels.
I'm grateful for music as a path to more learning, for lighting up the fire of activism in my heart, and for being so damn FUN even in times of shelter-in-place!
