Of note this week, some pretty spectacular stuff from Ash, who've made an album that's probably “inessential” (to be insufferably snobby about it), but also really true to their sound, very fun and named “Kablammo!”, and the art-rock collision of Franz Ferdinand and Sparks coming together as “FFS”. Meanwhile Simon attends to his alter of John Dwyer with new tracks from Damaged Bug and Thee Oh Sees.
Also Simon provides advice on hemorrhoids, and Ben pronounces “Castigadas En El Granero”:
