By definition, "Butt Rock" is not tied to any specific time period or genre- BUTT I always consider the likes of Glam/Pop/False Metal to be the true pioneers of lower forms of RAWK. So many power ballads, so many emotions- thank GOD for RIPPER GUITAR SOLOS!
