While Kenny and I take some time away, here's another training room session for ya. This time, we're each practicing solo.
Some things we learned/remembered when mixing rap:
- Vibe fucking Check
- It's not just BPM matching, contextual mixing is important
- Phrasing is everything and nothing is harder than phrasing in rap
- Sometimes a good blend is everything, but if you make a quick transition, especially with rap and its ON beat thats sometimes all that matters
