This week, we explore the music of Dorothy Carter. A multi-instrumentalist with a love for "trapezoids" - instruments like the zither, hammered dulcimer and more - Carter explored medieval music and ambient pieces, both as a solo artist and in collaboration with others. As well as playing songs from her albums Troubadour and Waillee Waillee, we also have tracks by Medieval Baebes, Laraaji and Danielle de Picciotto.
