I used to go on business trips. I would end up alone at the end of the day
in a hotel in a bedroom community outside a metropolitan area. Overpass shelves, broadcasting. I thought about aliens a lot then. To this day, I am fascinated by the praying mantis and dragonflies. But now I understand the oceans are full of aliens that have broken through their physics and particulars of existence. Expand and contract. Small, medium, and large heartbeats pass us over and pass over us. Over and over.
