As a BFF.fm DJ, you’re not just playing songs, you’re building connections. You're introducing listeners to new music, forgotten gems, and local artists who deserve to be heard. You're helping shape the culture of San Francisco and beyond simply by broadcasting your most authentic self.
Algorithms can throw together a playlist. But they can’t provide context or share a point of view.
“Creating for the sake of joy, not the algorithm. Celebrating artists growing the family tree of music.Taking space for joy, community, and authenticity...
It's a rare, beautiful, and hard thing.”
- Bridget
"Radio is music poetry. No matter what big tech asserts the future will be, vibes will always win." - Matt
BFF.fm shows are time capsules, love letters, and mixtapes shared with care. They’re intimate and expressive, spontaneous and deliberate. Whether it’s a set that feels like therapy, a sonic journey across genres, or a highlight reel of the local music scene, our DJs bring something human to the webwaves.
BFF.fm is built on real people sharing real music and real feelings.
We want you to be yourself on BFF.fm—no “radio voice” required. Tightly curated or freeform chaos, what matters most is that your radio show reflects your unique curatorial perspective.
