On September 26, BFF.FM is collaborating with 4 Star Theatre for a night of music and a screening of Hayao Miyazaki's "My Neighbor Totoro". BFF's first show at 4 Star Theatre features a lineup of west-coast songwriter Reisender and backyard surf punk band Nocean Beach.
Originally from North Bay and longtime Oakland resident Paul Conroy AKA Reisender is returning to the Bay Area for this show as well as a musical guest appearance on The Complex Presents What's Poppin'(livestreaming on Twitch this Monday Sep 23 at 7pm PST). Keep a lookout for a pair of singles from Reisender coming next month.
BFF DJ (and author of this blog post) Nocean Beach is releasing her self-titled EP the night of September 26. Having begun writing the songs of the Nocean Beach EP in early 2020, the band has been fine-tuning these tracks for years and is ready to blast them out in a lightning-quick 25 minute set.
Join BFF, Reisender, and Nocean Beach for a night of family-friendly Studio Ghibli nostalgia and tunes. Tickets available at 4-Star-Movies.com.
