I grew up in Massachusetts, so I know OF Sudbury, but only as home to one of the four east coast outposts of The Jewelry Exchange. Yes, every time I hear about the town of Sudbury (which is, unsurprisingly, not that often) I imagine this showroom full of awkwardly waving people:

Until I discovered Plums, that is.

The Sudbury, MA band has only released two songs so far, but there's already a lot to love about them. (not the least of which is their Facebook page URL) Plums' first single, released back in December, was pure dreampop: as glittery as diamonds, and guaranteed to double in value. (okay, fine, I'll stop.)

Their latest, Julia Gloria, offers a lush shoegaze sound. Have a listen:
