Endless Bummer's "Volume 1" — out on In the Red and produced by Ty Segall — is fast and loud, and the trash is just right. Somehow these tough surf sounds from southern California are right at home while I'm driving around empty Detroit streets on dark, frigid, snowy nights. Nuclear Beach is a ripper. They sing so fast I'm not sure what they're saying two-thirds of the time, but it sure is fun to scream along with the "whoa-ohs" and whatever else I can pick up on:
