Our Listening Parties are back, bestie! Join us for our first intimate listening session of our new season on Tuesday, May 21 in (...drumroll pls...) the dreamy secret garden at Stable Cafe!!! 😍 Our very own DJ Space Abuela, host of Abuela's Pantry, will be in conversation with Oakland band Christina's Trip about their upcoming record, Forever After.
Christina’s Trip, Distortion Pop born from the pandemic, is giving new life to a blend of sonic elements from all sorts of bands, from The Cure to 90s Sub Pop signees Eric's Trip (whose name, btw, pulled from a Sonic Youth song, gave influence to their own). Forever After is due out on July 15 on Cherub Dream Records...meaning this is your chance to hear it first!
Listen to new music, enjoy some fun convo, and even get a chance to chat with the band in a chill Q&A at the end of the program. Meet and mingle with other music lovers and peruse some band merch too!
Get your tickets at BFF.fm/foreverafter! Stable Cafe is located at 2128 Folsom Street, SF. Doors open at 6pm, and the listening begins promptly at 7pm.
