About In the Grove
Kwohla is the music project of San Francisco based electronic music producer, pianist and DJ Kellen Wohl. His BFF.fm radio show "In The Grove" will showcase a blend of healing and grooving music deriving from electronic, soulful house, and progressive melodies with a touch of natural organic elements.
Classically trained on piano, his music derives from an eclectic combine of deep piano respect, orchestral appreciation, alternative and indie music admiration, and cinematic influence. This medley of backgrounds consistently guides Kwohla towards his ultimate goal of creating music that inspires nostalgic memory and natural wonder intertwined with energetic grooves. Drawing from his California upbringing and travels abroad, Kwohla continues to pull innovation and creativity to craft his live shows and upcoming releases.
