EP075: This House Becomes A Hell

In Nepali faith, particularly within the context of Hinduism, the concept of hell is portrayed as Naraka, a realm of punishment and suffering. Depicted in various religious texts and myths, Naraka is described as a subterranean realm where souls are sent after death to face consequences for their actions in life. Different levels of Naraka are detailed, each corresponding to specific sins and offenses. The nature of punishment varies, encompassing experiences of extreme heat, cold, torment, and various forms of suffering based on the nature and severity of one's wrongdoings. However, the ultimate goal in Hinduism remains spiritual liberation and release from the cycle of birth and death, and the concept of Naraka serves as a reminder of the consequences of negative actions and the importance of leading a righteous life.
